Amanda Bartell IMH
Amanda received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. Amanda has extensive experience as a mental health counselor. Her specialties include: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Children of Divorce, Step family Adjustment, Couple/Marital Counseling, Oppositional Behaviors (School/Home), Self-Esteem Elevation, Parenting Skills/Temper Control, Anger Management, Stress Management and Treatment of Depression and Anxiety.
Prior to joining Banyan Group, Amanda worked as a school counselor for Palm Beach County where she worked closely with adolescents, families, and couples.
She has extensive experience working adolescents who may struggle with peer pressure, test anxiety, bullying, low self-esteem, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and more. Adolescents who are having trouble in school due to these deficits will learn techniques that will empower them to increase their academic status. In addition, she is extremely knowledgeable of Palm Beach County’s graduation requirements as well as what is needed to get into competitive colleges.
