Not at all. Going to therapy simply means you’re taking a proactive step toward understanding yourself and improving your well-being. Everyone faces challenges, and therapy is a healthy, constructive way to process emotions, navigate life transitions, and build coping skills. It’s a sign of strength—not weakness—to seek support when you need it. Just like we care for our physical health, tending to our mental and emotional health is an important part of living a balanced and fulfilling life.
We offer a variety of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), anger management, couples counseling, family therapy, and more.
The first session is typically an intake appointment where your therapist will get to know you, discuss your goals, and gather background information to create a personalized treatment plan.
Most sessions are 50 minutes long. Frequency depends on your individual needs and goals but is often weekly to start.
We’re happy to help you find the best fit based on your needs, preferences, and goals. Contact us, and our intake coordinator can guide you through the process.
